There are a few secrets to having near-perfect skin, according to celebrity esthetician Joanna Czech, who takes care of many Hollywood stars.
Preparation a few weeks before the event
Hollywood stars start preparing about 6 weeks before the event. The focus is initially on the body, as they drink about 3 liters of water a day, take salt baths every night and use Brazilian massage techniques for toning.
Facial care
It begins about 4 weeks before the event and includes intensive massages, about 45 minutes, that help lift the face and improve its shape. When the muscles are “warmed up”, they react better and give a natural lifting effect.
Main treatments
-Cryotherapy (skin cooling) for a cooling and tightening effect.
-Weekly peeling, which makes the skin smoother and increases hydration.
– Home routine, about 2 times a week.
One of the most interesting tricks
Cleanse your face with cleansing oil, without removing it completely, and apply a clay mask on top. After 15 minutes, massage both together and then remove. This works as a deep cleansing “micro-peeling”, where the skin becomes very smooth and bright.
Last treatment
The final treatment is done 2–3 days before, while on the day of the event, just a short massage of about 10 minutes, using a soothing serum, vitamin C serum, and a little facial moisturizer.
The result: super bright skin and ready for makeup.
