David and Victoria Beckham are ready to welcome Brooklyn back into their lives, despite recent family tensions. Sources close to the family told PEOPLE magazine that the couple are worried about losing their son and would welcome him back “in a minute” if he wanted to be reunited.
This comes after Brooklyn’s Instagram posts on January 19, where he criticized his parents for constantly trying to sabotage his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.
The Beckham family, which includes sons Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper, are said to be deeply upset by the allegations, but remain close-knit and hope that time will heal their relationship.
“David and Victoria believe that time will heal this,” the source tells PEOPLE. “They love Brooklyn and are terrified of everything.” In the meantime, communication between the young couple and Brooklyn’s parents is only happening through intermediaries, leaving open the possibility of a reunion in the future.
